The EVORÍ Journal · Ingredient Stories

Every ingredient
earns its place.

No fairy-dusting, no filler, no ingredient added just to look impressive on a label. EVORÍ uses clinically meaningful concentrations of proven actives — and a delivery system that makes them work. Here's the reasoning behind each one, and what we deliberately left out.

§ 1

The formulation philosophy.

Great actives are common. Actives that reach the cells that need them are not. That gap is the whole story of this formula.

We target aging at three levels at once: cellular (NMN and the senolytic, working on energy and senescence), structural (peptides, PDRN, and collagen support, rebuilding the scaffold), and surface (multi-weight hydration, brightening, and antioxidant defense). But there's a catch that most brands gloss over: nearly all of these actives are water-soluble or too large to cross the skin barrier on their own. In a conventional serum they'd sit on the surface and wash off. Air Spicule™ physically delivers them past the stratum corneum — which is why, for us, delivery isn't a bonus feature. It's the reason the formula is effective at all.

An ingredient that can't reach your cells is a marketing claim. An ingredient that can is a treatment.

§ 2

The heroes.

Five actives do the defining work. For each: what it is, how it acts, and why delivery is the difference between a label and a result.

NMN Cellular energy · longevity

Nicotinamide mononucleotide is a direct precursor to NAD⁺, the coenzyme that powers cellular energy, DNA repair, and sirtuin “longevity proteins.” NAD⁺ falls with age, and skin shows it as slower renewal, lost elasticity, and dullness. Topical NMN aims to replenish that supply where it’s spent.

Why delivery matters · NMN is small but water-soluble and works inside living cells — exactly where a conventional serum can’t reach. Precision delivery is what carries it past the barrier to the cells that actually use it.

Senolytic™ Sophora Japonica · 1.0%

With age, “senescent” cells stop dividing but refuse to die, secreting signals that inflame and age the tissue around them. A senolytic active, derived here from Sophora Japonica, is designed to help clear that burden and reset the skin’s renewal environment.

Why delivery matters · Its targets sit in living tissue below the surface. Delivered on top, it can’t reach them; delivered through, it can do its work where senescent cells accumulate.

MC-PhytoDNA™ Centella Plant PDRN · repair

A plant-derived PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) from Centella Asiatica, aimed at DNA-level repair and regeneration — clinic-grade recovery signals in botanical form, paired with cica’s well-known barrier-calming reputation.

Why delivery matters · PDRN molecules are large and would sit uselessly on the surface in a normal serum. Getting them to the viable epidermis is the entire point — and the entire challenge delivery solves.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 “Topical Botox” · 1.0%

The gold-standard peptide for expression lines, sometimes called Argireline. It modulates the SNARE signaling that drives repetitive micro-contractions, softening the mechanical creasing that deepens over years — included here at a meaningful concentration, not a fairy-dusting.

Why delivery matters · Peptides are far above the 500-Dalton passive-penetration limit. Without a delivery system they never get in. With one, a clinically documented active can finally behave like one.

Bakuchiol Retinol alternative · 0.05%

A plant-based active that delivers retinol-like renewal — smoother texture, softened wrinkles — without retinol’s irritation, and safe for sensitive and reactive skin. A cornerstone of the “gentle powerhouse” idea.

Why delivery matters · Bakuchiol is lipophilic; the opened micro-channels let it reach depth evenly, so you get renewal without the sting that drives people to quit retinoids.

§ 3

The neurometabolic double-lock.

The most interesting thing in the formula isn't any single ingredient — it's a pairing. NMN improves the energy state of the cell so it can repair; Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 reduces the mechanical trauma of muscle contraction that etches lines in the first place. One addresses biological decline, the other addresses physical wear. Together they form a double-lock on wrinkles — tackling both the cause beneath the skin and the movement on top of it. Neither could do this alone, and neither could do it at all without being delivered to where it acts.

§ 4

The full roster.

Beyond the heroes, a supporting matrix builds resilience, hydration, and tone — the barrier that lets everything else perform.

§ 5

What we left out — and why.

What's absent is a formulation decision too. EVORÍ is paraben-free, silicone-free, microplastic-free, fragrance-free, cruelty-free, and fully vegan. We also leave out the harsh, high-dose actives the category leans on to manufacture a “working” sting. Here's the logic that makes that possible: when delivery is precise, you don't need brute force. Gentle, proven ingredients delivered properly outperform aggressive ingredients that irritate and get abandoned. Clean, for us, isn't a moral badge bolted onto the label — it's the natural consequence of technology good enough that harshness became unnecessary.

We didn't remove the harsh actives to be clean. We removed them because precision made them pointless.
